License Overview

Overview

When you start GeneLinker(TM), your license is checked for validity in accordance with your license agreement before the application can run.

Predictive Patterns GeneLinker(TM) uses a new license technology which we believe will be more robust and reliable than the previous system. We do not support floating licenses, but provide a low-cost site license pricing scheme that we believe will fulfill the same needs without the often-problematic license server.

All MMC customers who upgrade to PPS GeneLinker(TM) will have to install new licenses for their software. In future, we will ensure that the license upgrade process is more seamless.
